Since its founding in 2006, nonprofit rescue group Chesapeake Cats and Dogs has helped more than 2,000 cats and dogs from Queen Annes, Anne Arundel, Talbot and Caroline counties find new homes.
And now, one wolf.
But volunteers didnt know they had a wolf (or possibly a hybrid wolf dog) on their hands until they posted a photo of 8-month-old Anubis on Facebook. They asked if anyone wanted to adopt a shy and skittish Alaskan malamute/German shepherd mix.
To which several astute Facebook commenters responded, That is not a dog, thats a wolf.

OP
I hope they find the breeder and turn them in. Gross irresponsibility and animal cruelty.

The whole "exotic pet" industry represents the worst side of human selfishness.

I have some ideas about that part but I'll wait to see what happens.

(92,491 posts)3. Yeah...
That's definitely got a lot of wolf in it. I know a wolf face, probably has loin legs and big feet too.

The Wolf Sanctuary of PA is an excellent facility. I have a friend who volunteers there. Its worth a tour if youre near Lancaster County.
