My fur babies are giving me some comfort

Gryff is behind us. He's not much for group cuddes. Carys is learning they can be quite lovely.

We fell asleep for about 2 hours. When I woke up I got something to eat and promptly threw it up. Sure sign my anxiety is red lining. So I took my pills and crawled back under the covers. I anticipate this will be how most of the rest of the day will be spent.

The cold weather really increases it. I don’t feel like I can go out whenever I want to. Still temperatures in the 20s. I should’ve brought home some leftovers yesterday from my brothers dinner. I don’t feel like going to the store so I’m having oatmeal and scrambled eggs for lunch. At least I have plenty of cat food as Amazon delivers it by the case. I’m thinking, don’t fight it, just give in and let the time pass. Arthur looks like he’s doing OK

Hope I'm right. Deep breathing and meditation often help me with that, too. Stay safe and warm and know we're here for you.

Arthur found the sweet spot where he is the center of attention, of course.

That combination of soft fur, soft purrs, and soothing warmth is balm for a wide variety of cares and worries, in my experience. Hope you feel better soon.

P.S. Yegods, autocorrect changed furbabies to furnaces! Sure glad I caught that before posting.

The last I remember it was 11, and the next time I checked, it was 2. I made something to eat, threw up part of it (my stress reaction) took a hot shower and crawled back into bed. Woke up just before 7. Perfect timing, too. Fed the fur babies and then gave Arthur his medication. Apparently it is not tasty stuff. I'm going to give them all some treats for being so wonderful.
