My string of pearls is blooming!

it's the first time in about 5 years of owning the plant. the're small white flowers. the smell is wonderful, sort of like carnations, very spicy. i wonder what kind of conditions caused this...

I had a surprise bloom of my Music Note Clerodendrum this winter. Surprises like this are really fun. Congratulations!

for the first time, especially when you have given up on it ever blooming. I have some Resurrection Lilies that come up early and the leaves die, as usual, but they never come back up with a bloom....well, almost never. I have seen them bloom only twice in several years. I also wonder what the conditions are that make everything come together.
