Related: About this forumI got to really enjoy the 'fruits of my labor' today. Made Lasagna using my homemade Marinara sauce
I've had a really good crop of San Marzano tomatoes, this year.
I had a small bowl of home made stewed tomatoes in the refrigerator so I added that, too. The freshness in the flavor of the Lasagna is MILES better than using store bought pasta sauce. Far less sugar and none of the additive ingredients really makes a difference.
Of course now I have to get busy and make another batch of Marinara Sauce so I can freeze it and make some good comfort food this Winter.

I'm surprised you aren't making cat food, but I don't think cats care much for tomatoes.

Misplaced my great sauce recipe some years ago, but as I'm mostly home alone, doesn't much matter.
