In keeping with my obsession for photographing rain kissed flowers

This beautiful Lily opened just in time for yesterday's much needed (but perhaps a bit overboard) rain.

I've been having one of those difficult 'anxiety' weekends and really needed something to help me re-focus. This bloom definitely is helping. I'm waiting on another and if it's as lovely as I HOPE it will be, I'll share a photo, later.

Looking at it I can picture the rain drops hitting, the clouds, then the rains stops, the clouds pull back and the drops start to dry, leaving few behind. It's such a peaceful scenario.
