Related: About this forumHere is a new 'mystery' flower that had made an appearance in my front garden
It is VERY much a spreading vine kind of plant. I'm thinking about buying a trellis for it. Hopefully by tomorrow I'll see a full bloom.

Beautiful photo, my dear Siwsan! I like the symmetry. Good luck on getting a full flower! ♥

(430 posts)1. it's vetch
It seems like every year I get a new surprise in this specific flower bed. I sometimes wonder if my late sister's spirit is planting things just to keep me on my gardening toes.

I am not all that familiar with it, did not know it would vine. It is a great plant to have to fix nitrogen. Often used as a cover crop. It sure is pretty.

I suspect that's how I've gotten a number of my mystery blooms.
