Gardening
Related: About this forumI had to do a temporary fix on my back garden gate, until I can build a new one
The fix involved a sharp, pointy tool, zip ties, a shovel, a tarp and some rope. It was then I realized that I have all of the basic tools to be a serial killer, and would never need to risk going to Walmart or Target to buy stuff, thereby likely get caught on their surveillance cameras.
Again, I blame 15 months in self isolation for me even thinking such things.

(20,817 posts)Of course there will be surveillance video of you from above. Just act normal.

(27,261 posts)Didn't have anyone, in particular, in mind. Well, not that I'd admit to, anyway.

(20,817 posts)A few days ago a real ratty truck with a big tatted up guy cruised the neighborhood. The back license plate was on the far left side of the bumper and tilted at an angle. I figure that was so it would not be able to be read by home surveillance cameras! Told a couple neighbors until I started to feel/realize that I watch too many murder shows.

(120,583 posts)I also have a hacksaw, duct tape and plastic sheeting.
Maybe I shouldn't be mentioning any of this. But the Old Lady Serial Killer headlines might be kind of entertaining.
