Related: About this forum'Caught' in my yard today; past years, they destroyed my roses (in large containers,)
so I 'just' follow wild ospreys now!
For info: Hares tend to be larger than rabbits, with longer hind legs and longer ears with black markings. While rabbits' fur stays the same color year-round, hares change color from brown or gray in the summer to white in the winter.

(5,092 posts)I can tell by the look in his eye. The deer with a weird antler who came up on the deck and ate my tomatoes last year had same look.
(Im planting some tomatoes just beyond the tree line at the edge of the yard for him this year.)
I love bunnies. The fox and coyote population has grown so much over here in nova that I rarely see any rabbits these days.
