So that's what we're having. I'll make a salad too. Easy dinner!

Watermelon later.

After yesterday's exciting day at the casino, today was a day of rest.

I did notice yesterday evening I had a dead tree fall down by the garden. Way too hot outside to clean that mess up. It's just gonna have to wait.

Good Evening

I have half a small watermelon that isn't too sweet so I'm going to use it with balsamic and feta for a salad

Yeah it's too hot to do much of anything!

That you’ll have that cleaned up in an hour, not counting the time it takes to get out the tools.

It can wait. Plus I have shoulder, and knee pain. I'm worried the downed tree damaged that antique John Deere metal lawn chair.

Looks like we have our first cucumber. You have to zoom in to see it.

Getting too big.

That looks like a nice chair. I would be worried , too.

My cucumbers are nowhere near that size. Our spring has been very cool. Tell Loretta

that cucumber is the long skinny type you see in grocery stores. She said when it gets around 12 inches she's going to pick it. Like you, I like to pick them before they get too big.

I had a nice metal chair bent by the school’s lawnmower guy. He hit it with his mower. He also wacked up my $129 metal hose that was super long and stretched the length of the garden.

Gardening losses aren’t always produce eaten by a deer.

with sweet potato topping. I bought some whole wheat rolls that turned out to be slightly sweeter than I'd like but they'll do

Air-fried black bean burgers on multigrain bread topped with sliced red onion and pineapple-tomato salsa. Steamed cabbage and thinly sliced apples was a delicious side dish. Cheers!🥂
