Tomorrow

I'm going to try making a blueberry, vanilla dump cake, in the slow cooker.

Always wanted to try one. I have some blueberries that are too sour to eat so I'm going to roll them in a little sugar and throw in with a vanilla cake batter. Thinking about adding cinnamon but haven't decided yet.

Anyone here have experience with dump cakes? Any advice?

Never in a crock pot though.

Basically, three steps.

1) Dump canned peaches in baking pan.
2) Pour mixed as usual yellow cake batter over peaches.
3) Cut a full stick of butter into pats and evenly arrange them on top of the batter.

Bake per cake mix instructions until toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.

The result is almost exactly like a peach cobbler.
