Flatbread pizza with onion, green pepper, and ground beef. Mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. Tomatoes on the side.

Tossed green salad with spinach, ruffly green leaf lettuce, celery , cucumbers, and red onion.
Fennel seed French dressing.

Pomegranate kombucha.

1. Shrimp salad and hot decafe tea. Simple night

2. Stouffer French Bread pizza, w pepperoni.

Dessert later: Pomegranate Blueberry dark chocolate bark, and LATER: B & J Coffee Coffee Buzz Buzz Buzz ice cream.

3. I made some chili

We got about an inch of fluffy snow, so it's another day for hearty food.

4. Went to the new casino in Terre Haute today

with another couple. Loretta won $15.00 and I lost $10.00. So we came out $5.00 ahead.

After gambling for almost 4 hours we left and went to Texas Roadhouse for dinner. Started out with their blooming onion for an appetizer. All four of us had their Road Kill (chopped sirloin smothered in onions, mushrooms and cheese), sweet potato with cinnamon butter and a toss salad with Honey Mustard dressing, and dinner rolls.

5. Minestrone Soup

Made from scratch vegetable broth to start. Sweated in olive oil: chopped onions, carrots, red bell pepper, zucchini, cabbage, kale, mushrooms and garlic. Fire roasted tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano and pre-cooked whole wheat pasta shells added to the broth. Added the veggies when they were soft, then black beans, kidney beans and peas. Toasted baguette slices to sop it all up. Iced green tea with lemon.
Left over rice pudding from yesterday for dessert. Cheers! 🥂
