I just spent over two hours chocolate-coating homemade marshmallows.

I don't know why I keep getting myself into these sort of tasks.

1. Did you also roll them in crushed peppermint candy canes????

Were they at least giant marhmallows???

These marshmallows were made with sour cherry and raspberry - just dark chocolate for them.

3. They do sound yummy. But I have one question. . WHY???

4. I thought they would go well with chocolate, and that it would improve their shelf-life.

I also thought I could just coat one side, let it harden, and then dip them. Coating one side worked nicely, Dipping turned out not to be possible, so there was nothing else for it but to spread chocolate on each tiny, sticky, little side with an offset spatula.
