German bratwursts, wrapped in turkey bacon and fried to a golden crisp, with Dijon mustard. I slow cook this on a very low flame.
I am going to attempt an experiment: coleslaw with the large leaves from a cabbage from the garden. It's an experiment because these larger leaves might be tough, but I'm thinking to try a "bruised" approach, like one does with kale. I'm just terribly attracted to them because they're such a beautiful green color. I have to think there's lotsa' nutrients in here.
The RG would tell me not to waste my time, though. He's not a greens lover, though, so of course he would say that.
Corn-jalapeno pancakes, low-carb. A little olive oil butter and agave, but not much.
Dessert: half a slice of strawberry-glazed cheesecake and a decaf coffee.

(20,945 posts)Went to Karls Sausage Kitchen this weekend, where they actually make what they sell, and it was a wonderful shopping trip!
So tonight we had a fry-up - Leberkäse with potato patties and eggs, along with sour cream and applesauce, and a bottle of beer.
Well be good tomorrow.
