(22,854 posts)It's interesting and sometimes inspiring to hear what other folks are having for their meals even if it is a simple dish. For example, the other evening I had pancakes and bacon for dinner. FYI, real maple syrup. Tonight, my wife is frying some chicken.
May dear kozar, I urge to to try dessert! A scoop of ice cream or a cookie cleanses the palate in a most refreshing way!
I've also wondered about kombucha. This is from WebMD:
Kombucha is a fizzy sweet-and-sour drink made with tea. Many people say it helps relieve or prevent a variety of health problems, everything from hair loss to cancer and AIDS. Theres little scientific evidence to back up the claims, but some elements of the drink may be good for you.
Kombucha has been around for nearly 2,000 years. It was first brewed in China and then spread to Japan and Russia. It became popular in Europe in the early 20th century. Sales in the United States are on the rise because of its reputation as a health and energy drink.

(18,918 posts)For breakfast, I have either a cheese omelet with a slice of toast, or a 1/2 portion of unsweetened cereal with unsweetened almond milk. Sometimes I break the routine with oatmeal, or creamed chipped beef on toast. So breakfast here is eating, but routine
Lately, I've been cooking a big pot of curried chicken veg soup and eating it every day till it's gone. I didn't make soup this week and I'm lost

(20,945 posts)because it begins their day.
Mine begins by making coffee, then getting on the treadmill, then drinking coffee and doing the puzzles online for "Connections" and "Wordle".
Breakfast is only special on Sunday and often dinner is leftovers because it saves time and energy to make extra.
Posting here also keeps this forum alive.
At a time when so much is out there keeping us terrified, this is a safe place.
