It was almost an all day ordeal to set up the Instant Pot -- about 15 steps. One must be very strong to remove the anti-block shield, sigh ("The anti-block shield must be cleaned frequently"). And the cord is less than 3 feet (33" ) long, GRRRR. On removing the anti-block shield, I find using a flat-bladed screwdriver makes it easy.

Unfortunately, I didn't find a recipe for making the Jello butterscotch pudding mix in the Instant Pot - I was hoping there was something that made it shorter and easier. No, it says stir constantly over medium heat. What one chooses as medium makes a lot of difference no doubt. That I did over my new Cusimax hot plate. It took a long long long time.

*OOPS, I meant to make this a reply to the OP, sorry.

I use my air fryer almost every day. Had thought about getting an instant pot but not sure I want the hassle of trying to set it up. Took me 5 minutes to set up air fryer.

Sliced cantalope (this melon was perfect!), cottage cheese, and thinly sliced ham.

Hey, Emile, I was sorry to hear you are still without rain. Yes, we did get a lot of it. I had to mop some up in my basement. We are supposed to get up to 3' more on Thursday.

You would not believe the variety and number of mushrooms that have sprung up in this rain.

LOL about your flea powder for catfish.

I have been through a drought before, a time or two, actually. Not fun.

You bought me and spent half a day to set me up, now what? Sigh.

I look at recipes online and the good looking ones involve an air fryer basket. Mine doesn't air fry. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
