Related: About this forumMy fave keto recipe. Chicken salad:
Chop 1 large red onion into little bits (you have to get in there with your hands and separate the chopped onion into the little bits because they stick together still after being chopped). Chop 1 full broccoli x2 ( or equivalent broccolini, head chopped and broccoli stems cut into cubes). Add 3 large stalks celery cubed. Mix. Add salt and pepper. Mix. Add real mayonnaise to taste. Mix. Cook four large boneless, skinless chicken breats in oven. ( 30 minutes at 350 degrees). Chop into small cubes. Add more salt and pepper to taste and maybe a bit more mayo. It lasts in the fridge for days. I eat it every dinner meal for 4 days.
This is my sister's recipe.

(122,932 posts)without them. Maybe cut up half a red onion and put it aside. Try it with and without. The onions do not taste onionny.

(14,245 posts)I'm on South Beach, and it is working! I have lost about 15 pounds since January 7th. I need more DIY recipes to add to my arsenal, and I love broccoli salad. This sounds similar. I would be tempted to add a slice of cooked, crumbled bacon and some sunflower seeds!
I haven't had soda, ice cream, pasta or bread since I started and for the first time I don't really miss them.
Thanks again!

(2,312 posts)I make some whenever there's leftover chicken. But I use only yellow onion and celery. Still great!
