Well. I've decided to quit and need some help.

I've had bronchitis for over 2 weeks and it's the worst I've ever had. So I started chantix this week and am amazed by how well it kicks the cravings. I'm still smoking but only about half as much as I was a week ago.

Still haven't decided when to quit. My doctor said to wait at least a week after starting the chantix but I could wait for a month if I wanted to.

Any advice? Tips?

what worked for me was the nicotine anonymous program.. there are almost 40 meetings a week online.. while quitting is seldom easy, it is doable, especielly with support..heres where to go!!

They're almost effortless when trying to quit. I started out vaping part time while still smoking, then one day I just stopped going to the store to buy cigs. It was practically painless to quit with ecigs. There's a bunch of DU'ers who are currently vaping, or just starting, or old hats like myself so there's no shortage of knowledge there.

Whatever you decide, good luck! Just never quit quitting and you'll succeed one way or another.

Do you inhale the vapors? I'm dealing with a horrible case of bronchitis and don't know if I should be inhaling.

One thing that I've found, grant you I haven't had bronchitis, but the vaping actually helped me to cough up all the goo from smoking over the years. It almost seems to loosen it up and make it easier to get rid of it.

But there are a bunch of ways to quit, choose what works best for you. Will power is your best tool for quitting.

It's really the easiest thing I've ever tried. Vaping for me was an almost completely painless way to stop smoking.
