Drugs? Bipolar? Just plain weird? Who's to say?
I find I do some things I never used to do. All harmless, no real significance to them. Such as:
I spent 2 hours yesterday listening to Irish rap. I don't like rap.
Since I lose things now, I give myself a patdown search when leaving a building or car to verify I have keys, wallet, cell phone, watch, and iPod.
I use this little inflated rubber platform device at the gym for balance exercises. On the face, it has 4 markers at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 positions. I can't just let it sit randomly on the floor, I have to position it so the markers are in those clock positions and aligned perfectly relative to True North.
I keep some single serving bottles of milk, water, and juice in the fridge at work. All of the labels have to point out.
Minor OCD, maybe?

(6,581 posts)Better than I would have imagined. The whole going to the gym, going to work in suit and tie, coming home and going out for long rides thing is working out so much better for me than the whole homeless in a Detroit alley thing would have.

(6,581 posts)This is weird but not really humorous.
TV and radio. I was never a heavy viewer/listener, but I still just "can't go there". I had one FM local radio morning program I enjoyed on my morning commute, All Things Considered on NPR in the evening, and a handful of TV shows, such as Modern Family.
I try to start listening or watching, and then turn it off after a few minutes, kind of a can't go there feeling. Then I'm right back to the iPod.
I have been catching a little bit of Diane Sawyer and our local news, that seems ok.
Weird, huh?

(10,420 posts)I generally don't like TV shows and movies of any kind. I rarely watch them. For radio I have satellite radio in my truck at work that I listen to all day. I'm not sure what I'd do without that. I'm definitely spoiled.
I do a lot of stuff on the internet. That's my medium of choice.

(6,581 posts)Maybe it's like the people with depression who no longer enjoy things?
Anyway, great to see you! You're really cooking' now. Hard, but you're doing what you need to do. Way to go!
