Side stitch update

A few weeks ago I posted a thread here asking for help with side stitches. Not a day later, my copy of Runner's World magazine showed up, with this article:

http://www.runnersworld.com/running-tips/running-air-breathing-technique

I had a six-mile race the next day, and I tried this (just the basic breathing technique of counting my inhale/exhale breaths). It worked. I ran a comfortable race and my time was dead-on average for the field that day. Success.

Just thought I'd pass this along to whoever else is interested.

I was just looking for this too! (I had read it before but after increasing my training I need it again... how easy it is to forget!)
