Anybody here have any experience with the Qutenza patch?

The reason that I ask is because I have severe neuropathy in my legs. Unfortunately, the doctors inform me that in the United States the Qutenza patch is only authorized for people whose neuropathy is caused by diabetes or shingles, neither of which I have.

Consequently, I have been experimenting with my own topical capsaicin concoctions and have been quite happy with the results, but would very much like to compare notes/experiences with any patch users.

I use capsaicin both orally and topically. I take 1 455mg cayenne pepper capsule with breakfast and 2 teaspoons of ghost pepper sauce in my afternoon V8.

I’m only now on my third topical application of capsaicin, so I’m still learning what a good starting dose is. I got a little over 90 days of relief from my first 2 topical tries. Hoping for longer once I have my technique down.
