Yay, Mayo has Doctors familiar with my disease(s)

And lucky for me, there's a Mayo campus nearby.

But unfortunately they require a cash deposit of $5K before they'll see me. I'll be eligible for Medicare in a few months but I'm afraid it'll still cost me an arm and a leg (or maybe just a few toes, HA).

Greatest Healthcare System in the World? Ok, sure, but when all I can do is look at the entrance to their campus and cannot afford to go in, it sucks pretty bad.

you may find names of local doctors who are as good for much less. On the other hand, once you are on Medicare, it may be that the $5K deposit gets waived!
