...her WBC counts were a little low when she left and she has remained in a weakened condition. We were scheduled for bloodwork this morning and it showed her counts remaining in the safe range (they wouldn't tell the exact count). Had they fallen to dangerous levels, she would have been given more platelets. That's good news, it means her body is maintaining. We go for another bloodwork Monday, and if they have fallen, she will get the platelets. If not, it's a go for the next chemo Thursday. This one will be here locally at the chemo cllinic and we'll come home afterwards. We'll see if this one is as hard on her as the last. Last time was just a couple of days after completing 5 rad treatments, so I'm hoping she can bounce back quicker, and we can get her strength up. She is feeling better and getting a little stronger. NExt week, we should be seeing a physical therapist and an occupational therapist, and will have a couple of visits by the home health RN. She did get some Marinol for appetite stimulation, and it seems to work.
