She's in the hospital now....

It's really a relief. They have got her on IV nourishment, so maybe she can start rebuilding strength now. I don't know if it has been the radiation zapping her energy or what. MAybe someone who has had rad therapy can tell me, but she has gone downhill ever since she started the treatments. I picked up a wheelchair from my ex who manages a home healthcare business to get Carol into the hospital today. She never would have made it without it. Kinda neat that Carol and my ex are friends now. We are like one big extended family! How often does that occur? Great women, both of them.

They seem to be having some difficulty with the liver biopsy pathology in identifying exactly what cancer it is we're fighting. I'm hoping they can get that straightened out soon and get her chemo going.

Well, that's it for today. I'm plum tuckered out and heading to bed. It's been a long day.

I had to stop driving because I was so weak. It was an effort to walk and it took weeks after I was done to start feeling a little bit like myself. The wheelchair is a great idea. You are a lucky man to have tow wonderful women and your ex sounds great.

Rest, and I hope Carol can rest. The IV will help.

The hospital can be a wonderful place. She'll have the care that one person cannot possibly provide and those IV's will bring her back to life again. Get some rest and take care of yourself.
