(86 posts)1. Temporary sponsor?
I do not understand how that would work. A sponsor is normally a pretty permanent thing

(11,463 posts)3. In just about all the AA and Al-anon groups I've been in, they almost always using the wording
"temporary sponsor". (Minneapolis and western suburbs). The idea being to get going with a sponsorship ASAP, rather than first spending weeks and months looking for the ideal one.

Just trying to understand. I could have made better choice of words. I would suggest going to a meeting. Any meeting. They have them on line now I understand. Sobriety is tough sometimes. Hang in there
