Which is something I don't quite understand - for countries with low crime rates, the Scandinavians write an awful lot about gory and violent serial murders. Besides Jørn Lier Horst, here are some of my favorite writers: Jo Nesbø, Karin Fossum, Thomas Enger, Kjell Ola Dahl (Norway); Camilla Lackberg and Helene Tursten (Sweden); Jussi Adler-Olsen and Katrine Engberg (Denmark); Antti Tuomainen (Finland); and Ragnar Jonasson, Yrsa Sigurdardottir and Arnaldur Indriðason (Iceland).

about murder after finding dinosaur bones (if I remember correctly... i probably don't!). David Tennant starred in it I think, and it was really good, too!
