I like director Aronofsky's work, but his films aren't for everybody. He did "Requiem for a Dream," a film about addiction that was harrowing. I'm told "Whale" isn't quite as bad.

to tears at the end. I have been having a hard time with bingeing and a friend said to watch this movie. It really shows the pain we are in when we stuff our scary emotions.
