Just saw "The Menu". Wow!
Took me totally by surprise. I had no idea what it was going to be about. Fantastic!
In theaters and on HBO Max.

(23,889 posts)I thought the acting was great. Enjoyed the plot twists. The scenery and cinematography. And I'm a bit of a foodie but think the pretentious high end food snobbery is hilarious. I loved the way they made fun of that in this film. Especially the one scene where they were served the small sampler of spreads minus the bread. Then went on to describe the bread they weren't going to be served in great detail. Fun movie. But hey, that's just my opinion.

(11,223 posts)I was not expecting a horror story. I mean I heard it was going to be about death and such but I just didn't expect it in such a pretentious, swank, up scale and frivolous setting. The contrast between the two is what made it so fun for me.
