1923. Just watched episode 3 and saw Helen Mirren earn an Emmy. (Spoiler Free)

For my tastes great writing, acting sets and wardrobe. Packs an emotional punch.

If you are a fan of superhero movies you might find this a tad slow as there isn't an explosion every three minutes.

It's not perfect but I'm thoroughly enjoying it so far.

ranching family in 1923 amid the changing times of the 20's. Stellar cast with Harrison Ford and Mirren leading the way so far.

What order should they be watched?

8. In my opinion they pretty much stand alone but if I had to make a call

I would watch 1863 first followed by 1883 and then Yellowstone which is ongoing. Neat ant Ford and Mirren. I didn't know that.

6. Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren committed to it without a script

Taylor Sheridan said he was tired of writing with a particular actor in mind and then not being able to get that actor. So he invited them to his ranch, HF first, then HM, and offered them the parts. After discussing where he wanted the project to go, and plenty of wine, both committed.
