Midnight Club
Watching the Midnight Club which I thought was supposed to be part of the Midnight Mass anthology. But it seems more like a "Haunting" series. Anybody else feel that way?

(47,337 posts)Aside from Midnight Mass, which I understand he couldn't sell until he was already successful, his work tends to be his recreation of classic horror. Someone told me he was working on The Fall of the House of Usher. Can't wait.

(47,337 posts)Honestly, I don't know how you'd add to the brilliance of that series.
It just has Midnight in the title. I'm finding the premise fascinating. Who would think to set something in a hospice for teenagers? I don't think that's a spoiler. I haven't watched much of it yet, but I'm enjoying it. I love his stuff! Scary but not gory, well-written and acted.
I generally find I miss details on the first time through one of his series, but I get them on the second try. I guess that's a failing? Not to me. i love his stuff so much, I always end up watching it more than once. I practically memorized lines from Midnight Mass.

It just didn't have the same pizazz as those others.
