I'm an Outlander fanatic myself - have you watched that Series? Talk about amazing, incredible acting and addictive, holy cow! And it just dropped Season 6 -
I'll definitely tune in - thanks for the recommendation!

rly love it, tho count me among those who would like less rapes, please. i understand that's a big part of s5, so, yeah, may be hesitating cuz of that.
want to be able to dive in to 6 to shake that off.

(1,979 posts)but they are key if you have read the books (she just finished book 9 and of course I devoured it!). Things were horrible back in those days and author Diana does not shy away from the good, bad and ugly. It happened in the book and they did put it on the screen but it was done in a - how can i say this? easier... way than Jamie's. No less traumatic, but less graphic. If you read the books it was much more horrific. Its the best episodic series I've ever watched, I'll say that for sure!!!
And - its interesting. With all that is going on in America, its interesting to see the parallels to the times of the beginning of the United States. It's like the same arguments, the same fights. You learn allot about American history from this series. I definitely recommend the small investment into Starz to watch!

(22,652 posts)Lots of great costumes and witty dialogue. The costume director really does have a thing for bright rich Democratic Blue!!!
Love Outlander. We have had to wait for it to drop on Netflix. When it did we binge watched it too. I am looking forward to Season 6! Thanks for the tip.
