The Crown Just Got an "X-Rated" Treatment, and We'll Never Look at It the Same Way
For anyone who enjoys watching The Crown on Netflix... you'll also enjoy this. (I did!)
https://www.popsugar.co.uk/entertainment/the-crown-unnecessarily-censored-video-48141830
Ever wondered what The Crown would be like if there was a bit more cursing involved? Now you don't have to. On 31 Jan., Netflix posted an unnecessarily censored clip from the show. No royal was left unscathed as everyone from Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip to Prince Charles and Princess Anne let out all of their "frustrations" with aptly placed bleeps and Netflix censor bars. We certainly had a bleeping good time watching them all. Our personal favourite moment had to be when Queen Elizabeth II remarks, "A good brisk #$@&%*! I say." You can delight in the royals swearing at each other in the video above.

(106,212 posts)1. Someone asked DUers to name six people, living or dead, we'd like to talk to
I almost said the Queen because, whether you like royalty or not, she sure as hell lived through a lot of history and its aftermath. But, I'd want her to be candid (and I'm not sure she could/would ever be outside the family) and I'd want that candid conversation to go on for days, weeks, or months. And yeah, I'd want her to be forthright and frank enough to let out a few real curse words (even if I might not "get" the royal UK equivalents!)
An intriguing thought, but probably only the Corgis/Dorgis know.

(42,862 posts)2. "If you could invite one person to have dinner with you, living or dead, what would your answer be?"
"Oh, I don't know. But, I think I'd have to sayyyy... LIVING!"
Yeah, you have a point!
