Has anyone been watching "Ripper Street"?
I finally gave it a try and I'm so hooked now. The writing is superb.
The sets, cgi and irl are such eye feasts.

(2,005 posts)I watched it a while ago and liked it for the most part. I think in the last couple of seasons it got a little off track, kind of more unbelievable plot lines. But it was still enjoyable.
Matthew Macfadyen who played Reid is now part of the Succession cast, which I think is based on the Rupert Murdoch family. I have not watched any of that, but it was up for many emmys, so I'm assuming it's popular. I think he was up for an award himself. He's good in anything he's done, imo.
