I have not watched this show, but I saw a video of Harrison Ford and Michael J Fox speaking of Parkinson's and this....

Scene where he talks about it with his family.

vest which when set at a specific voltage power stopped his PD tremors. In the vid he put it on and the PD tremors disappeared. He took it off and they returned. It was not a cure, it was a treatment. I wish I had saved the video.

I imagine the reason his invention is not getting any publicity is because of the pharma industry.

Deep Brain Stimulation. It worked quite well for the initial symptoms for a few years. Then the rest of Parkinson's came at him. Incontinence, memory loss, cognitive decline, depression. etc.

"experimental" treatment. I don't know what stage the man in the YT video was at but it would be interesting to follow his progress or regression.
