Medicare supplement/gap policy questions, anyone have Humana?

We have had Anthem plan G which is very expensive for a few years now both of us, the premiums are over $200 a month for each of us and I’m thinking of changing to a plan F high deductible or plan G high deductible to HUMANA because of course Anthem doesn’t offer The high deductible option.

I am spoiled by the Anthem website and how I can use it to track information and how they’ve never once turned down a claim although that’s the law and I assume Humana would also be that way I just don’t know what they are like to work with as far using their site to monitor claims.

Would love to hear from anyone about any of this regardless of which company you have.

Can I be so bold as to ask your ages?
Ours go up every year as they use that version of the pricing, of course.

This plan is not available in our area but I am curious details including does it go up every year is it is age based?

The Council on Aging people can tell you down to the penny what esch gap plan costs & same for Part D drug coverage, the latter of which changes every year.

They saved me hundreds per month by directing me to the Farm Bureau gap plan. It was around $125/ mo a few yrs ago when I became eligible.

It is my understanding that switching gap carriers is often more expensive because you are buying in at a more advanced age.

My Farm Buresu gap plan goes up about $10/ yr.

but has expanded it's intake.

I've used them (I'm non-military) for 20+ years for lots of insurance needs.

Have they ever denied a claim that should be covered, other than for obvious reasons i.e. deductible etc?

About two years ago I fell and broke an arm while out of town. Went to the ER in the nearest city. When I got home the next day, I went to a local orthopedic clinic. I do recall seeing the bill somewhat later, but I only paid something like $25.00.

I'm not really a good resource as I am almost never sick, but the rare times I have been they've paid everything essentially.

I recall that broken arm cost me something like sixty bucks? I wish I could recall for you, I'm sorry.

I closely monitor everything with online accounts whether it’s my electric and gas bill or my insurance or my credit cards banking everything, including my Medicare Social Security and my supplement with Anthem.

Do you have an online account with Humana where you monitor what bills they just paid and that they paid it in full etc. or do you just rely on stuff to come in the mail from them?

What I’m getting at is are they user-friendly to deal with online in looking up information and just monitoring claims payment etc.?

I am never sick (have not had Covid, last had flu in 1976) so I'm not necessarily a good source, but any time I've needed to use it there has been no problem.
