Tool for Dyslexia?

I was speaking with a neighbor about what he's up to in retirement last night, and he explained that he had co-founded a foundation to promote the use of a free tool to help people with dyslexia read. It is based in the Summerbell Reading Method. (Info on that at www.readsummerbell.com).
In a nutshell, method simply curves each line of text into an arc on screen, with the peak of the arc in the middle. There are free apps and browser extensions for reading and writing via this method for download there. It's also in the Apple App Store (probably Google Play Store too, but I don't use Android).
My neighbor is a do-gooder/retired Obama WH senior staffer and is just trying to help the discoverer of this method get it implemented and get the word out.
I'm not dyslexic myself and cannot personally vouch for the effectiveness of the method/tools, but it looks like it could potentially help many.
