It's getting a little better, but they need to stop using this horribly outdated cliche.

I refuse to play any video game that is so uninspired that it uses this as a plot device. It's unrealistic and lame.

Like Darksiders I guess. Great plot, but the only female touch in there (as far as I know) are the angels he ends up crunching. But he crunches up the male angels too so it strikes even I guess.

But yeah, when the damsel in distress videogames come out, it's about as lame as the Brady bunch.
