Northern Gaza has been totally emptied now per the IDF.

Why would Palestinian Americans be disillusioned about what was obviously happening to anyone paying attention except the corporate media which has all but ignored Gaza long before October 7th and after?

Too many polls to cover, I guess?

No "ethnic cleansing" eh?

That's such a clean sounding phrase, isn't it?

If the powers that be don't care about Palestinian suffering, by extension they don't care about, or at the very least are unaware of you.

Well at least Jared Kushner will now have a place to put the majority of the investment money from journalist hating MBS around 2-3 billion dollars.

You can close your eyes and ears to what's going on around the world in our name, but it will only come back to haunt us and empower people like *rump while increasingly undermining our own democracy.

2. In completely unrelated news: IDF says Gaza polio vaccination campaign has been completed

Israel says that the Polio vaccination campaign in Gaza conducted in recent weeks has been completed, with some 1.1 million vaccines administered and a vaccination rate among children of over 90 percent.

According to the Coordinator of Government Affairs in the Territories (COGAT), a Defense Ministry agency that coordinates the provision of humanitarian aid into Gaza, 211,170 children were vaccinated in northern Gaza; 379,361 children were vaccinated in central Gaza; and 517,070 were vaccinated in southern Gaza.

Are the 211,170 children that were vaccinated by IDF in Northern Gaza not civilians? Did IDF secretly smuggled them into Northern Gaza to be vaccinated and then secretly smuggled them out of Northern Gaza leaving no civilians in Northern Gaza?

Democracy Now wouldn't just pull shit out of their asses without citing a source that can be verified, now would they? It's not like this ever happened before...

number is some or none as long as the killing continues. The Middle East over the last more than 100 years has been one of the biggest jobs of gaslighting known to mankind. The big media never talk about the backstabbing and double dealing the British and French engaged in ala the Sykes-Picot Agreement and the McMahon-Hussein documents and all that surrounded those things and what came after. They don't talk about the backstabbing and double dealing by the British, French and US after WW2 regarding there true goals and aims.

Suffice it to say that there is every good reason for people to spit on the ground when they hear the US, British or French talk about how they want to act as "honest mediators". But if someone doubts the dishonest conduct of those nations all one needs to do is ask the Irish about how reliable the words or integrity of the British are regarding any agreement or assurances. Ask the indigenous people of America what the word or integrity of the American government is once they make an agreement and give assurances.

The British, French and the US were looking out for their own interests and control in the Middle East and the lives of the people there didn't mean jack-shit to those countries and they still don't. It is still about oil, money and control for those countries as far as the outcome each wants. But they keep exerting their influence while playing the tired charade of caring about the people when people stopped believing, with good example and reason, long ago that any of these parties could be trusted in anything they say or represent.

Two good works to read about this all are "A Line in the Sand" by James Barr which covers the period of 1914-1948 and the Sykes-Picot Agreement/Anglo and French conduct and then also "Lords of the Desert" also by James Barr which covers the period from 1941-1967 and the British and the US fighting each other for control and influence in the Middle East. Some people may think this history doesn't matter but the elimination of all vestiges of Sykes-Picot and it's lasting effects are a main battle cry for some of the Islamist militia groups and that goes beyond the issue of Israel alone.

So it does matter to know how it came about, how people lied, the arrogant actions of old Colonial powers and how media or governments today trying to ignore it all like it never happened is simple cowardice in leadership. Instead of owning up to what was done we get a Western media that acts like the only issue of conflict in the Middle East is just Israel and the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza and the hostility of Iran. They treat Syria like it was a sideshow opportunity for the major powers to trot out their latest military hardware and that it all boils down to Assad. It is colossal malfeasance for Western media and governments to portray a picture as though if Assad in Syria, the Islamic regime in Iran were gone and Israel were to be normalized by the Arab countries like Saudi Arabia that everything is then cool and groovy. It would still be far from it.

We in the US have our own clear examples of disingenuous conduct. For example we still have a government that when faced with treaty violations, failure to compensate for resources as promised etc. forces the Tribes to go through lengthy expensive litigation in court rather than simply being honest and owning up to the violations and making them right. The US position regarding those treaties can be summed up as "We will only honor what you force us to." Hardly a ringing endorsement for the idea of trusting such an entity in any proceedings of any kind.
