JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Israels Supreme Court ruled on Thursday that a cluster of homes in a Jewish settlement outpost in the occupied West Bank was built on privately owned Palestinian land and must therefore be removed.
Accepting a petition by Palestinian plaintiffs, Israels top court overturned a 2018 District Court ruling which had broken judicial ground by recognising the Mitzpe Kramim settlers claim to the land, despite it being owned by Palestinians.
The District Court had declared the settlers the legal owners, finding that Israeli authorities were unaware the land was privately owned when they originally mapped out the area.

(6,891 posts)Leave the WB or be prepared to become citizens of Palestine after Israel evacuates the WB (with the exception of the old city of Jerusalem).
I know this is unlikely to happen, especially as long as Bibi is anywhere near the PM office, but it should happen.

from Gaza . Especially amongst the army elite .
Bibi will be gone soon but there is nobody strong enough within Israeli politics today to stand against the settler movement and their dream of a " Greater Israel " given to them by God .
Lets just dream that Benny Gantz replaces Bibi ......he knows better than anyone what taking on the settlers would do to the army .
Evacuating the settlers from the WB would mean civil war sabbat hunter.
Lets not forget what happened to Rabin
Your dreams and mine aside .....there is much worse than Bibi standing in the wings waiting to take over .
