I witnessed this on the Kitchener train coming into Toronto on Friday and then I saw a tweet describing a similar situation on the subway.

Explosion of food delivery
+ deeply unaffordable city

= couriers have to commute to and from the city with their bikes

The situation on @GOtransit @GOtransitKT is of control, every bike zone looks like this. Doors and exits are blocked. The walkways are a tripping and accessibility hazard. There's no enforcement of the 2 bikes per zone rule. Please either provide bike coaches or enforce the rules

I got a warning driving my blood center bus for keeping an equipment case on the bottom step because of that. Even though any of the crew could open the door and boot it out in an emergency. I suppose there was some chance that in the right crash, that could have jammed the door or something though.
