(120,586 posts)We have bike lanes almost everywhere now (including the street I live on). I barely notice them (except when I'm driving); they are hardly an aesthetic blight. I've never heard anyone complain about them.

They'll get theirs, it's a sand bar south of Point Loma and sure to be swallowed by the sea eventually, maybe the next big hurricane that comes along a little north of the one passing a little to the south of them today.
