Join Climate Week NYC!, Livestream Links, Day 2...

From 'Climate Group', hosts of Climate Week 2023:

The past year has seen some major climate wins. More investment is now going to clean energy than fossil fuels. The U.S., China and EU are pouring hundreds of billions into green technology. Emissions in the EU and the U.S. are trending down. But change is hard — emissions are still rising globally, or at best plateauing, and fossil fuel use is not falling fast enough. We need more action, and we are impatient.

That’s why Climate Group’s Climate Week NYC kick-starts international climate discussions throughout the fall. Business leaders, politicians, local change makers and civil society representatives from all over the world will join to discuss how we can do more. Our motto this year is “We Can. We Will.” Together, we can — and we will — drive action, ignite progress, break down barriers and accelerate the change that’s already happening.

...for caring!

Even here on DU, a surprising number of people just don't care about the devastating effects of our CO2 emissions and the Climate Change it's causing.

Effects that even President Biden calls an 'Existential Crisis'.

That PEOPLE are causing this.
And that our planet is already overly populated.

I cannot celebrate a couple having a 6th child.
