(14,167 posts)I've enjoyed Experience.com.
If you happen to be a recent (or just plain) grad and your school has a network on there, definitely take advantage of that. Otherwise, I think there are some good opportunities on there.

(5,023 posts)Does Google post their jobs on CareerBuilder, or AT&T, or other major companies? Not that I would apply at these companies, specifically, but I wonder if it best just to apply to the jobs that interest you directly? Wouldn't a better approach be to find a company you want to work for and pursue it? These sites frustrate me because most the postings are made by staffing agencies, which have problems too numerous to list here. The rest of the postings are for jobs that are difficult to fill for whatever reason like ridiculous requirements. But the problem with applying for jobs directly is, I am not aware of every company in my area and the process seems to take forever.

(2 posts)Here's good jobs posting by socialcare.co.uk.Outreach jobs provide a link between the health and social requirements of the client and the network of local authority services or public support services and the National Health Service. (Of course, many outreach jobs are provided privately through home health care agencies that specialise in outreach work and jobs in outreach such as sheltered housing jobs.)

(18 posts)Delivering food is a great job to have if you're looking for another job. I delivered sushi for six months and averaged twenty bucks an hour.
That was while I was carrying a JD. As I've said to everyone I've tipped in the last five years, there's no shame in any job in this economy. Make sure you're eating right.
