Members of the media said that she was stoking hatred by simply addressing the issue. Members of my party said that she was hurting the cause by distracting from our economic message. However, she will forever have my deepest respect for speaking the very inconvenient truths about tRump and his supporters. I've seen many on countless threads talk about how they "just don't talk about politics" with their more racist/bigoted family members. But HRC spoke to the nation! Maybe more will listen now.
You can't speak truth to power if you're afraid to talk to your Aunt Sue. Now is the time to have those courageous conversations with those whom you love. Let them know that their hatred hurts everyone. Your silence is speaking for you.
