Marylanders have given $6 million to Clinton's campaign and $85,633 to Trump's.
Clinton, the presumptive Democratic nominee, has received more than 25,000 donations from Marylanders. Trump, the presumptive Republican nominee, has yet to reach 300, according to FEC data released this week that covers contributions through May 31.
The most recent FEC filings highlighted Clinton's extensive fundraising advantage nationally. They showed Clinton with $42 million in her campaign account and Trump with $1.3 million.

But MD is almost always reliably blue. And for the most part, even MD GOPers don't totally suck. Thank heavens.
I'm still working - and hoping - for "purple" MT. I am not at all sure that it is reliably in the GOPer column in 2016 and am doing whatever I can to help fence-sitters opt for Blue.

(51,382 posts)In Donald Trump's twisted little mind, he thinks the media is going to give him all the time he wants and, therefore, he won't have to buy any ads. There are a couple of problems with this theory - the FEC would make the media give Hillary equal time or they'd consider it an in-kind contribution, the media - who earns its living through selling ads - is NOT going to give this fucking Oompa-Loompa free airtime, and the networks just might find it in themselves to hire Keith Olbermann to interview him.
