Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumSo what happens here on Monday?
GDP is full of Sanderistas still pushing their agenda and bashing Clinton. Will they no longer do this? Not even in their own cocoon otherwise known as the Sanders group?
I will not hold my breath. The sentiments are too high there.

(26,877 posts)The term "Sanderistas" is derogatory. Secretary Clinton will need his supporters in the GE.
Pretty please with sugar on top??
charlyvi
(6,537 posts)We will call them what we please. Why don't you head on over to GDP or the Sanders Group and try to straighten them out. They do "denigration" quite well.

(6,537 posts)stop attacking Bernie's supporters whine before cleaning your own house and you are saddened? I should say embarrassed would be more appropriate.
Cooley Hurd
(26,877 posts)I posted similar messages in the Senator Sanders group.

(6,444 posts)So we are talking like this in our group and within the rules. The OP was wondering what's going to happen.
We have been put in our place this whole election. The OP was in this the HRC Group. Not in GDP or GD or Bernie's group.
Go to those groups and see the quality and caliber of the insults towards the Democratic Nominee!
Cooley Hurd
(26,877 posts)*We are all on the same side after the convention.*

(14 posts)The 5% of "Bernie or Busters/truth Deniers/math illiterates" will never come over to HC. That cult is now Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, or Trump voters. This group makes up the RABID Internet take-over of Facebook, Twitter, reddit, polls, comments etc.. These are the people that give Bernie a bad name, and they are the group that Clinton supporters absolutely detest.. The worst part is, many are not even Americans. They are foreign nationals, posing as Bernie supporters. (I can show an admittance of this).
Anyway, these are the people that get the infighting stirred up and those are the types you Sanders supporters need to ask to be quiet.. and yes, I agree some of them are Republicans posing as "BernieBros" to stir the pot.
As far as NEEDING them in November? I truly think reasonable, moderate Republican women will make up the 5% of "BoB-ers" that we've grown to hate and render them moot, just because Trump is so bad and unliked.
The overall problem is Bernie himself. The longer he goes without conceding, the longer the 5% will hang on. Bernie REALLY needs to drop out and endorse Hillary.. Only then the Bernie or Bust crowd will dissipate and the infighting stops.

(26,877 posts)Please provide a link to any post from a long-standing DUer (no trolls, hence the "long-standing" requirement) that have said that they will vote for Drumpf over Secretary Clinton. I will personally go to AtA with that link, as they have no business being here.

(14 posts)I was just responding to the #1 post about calling Sanders supporters Sandernistas, and why it's happening... imo

(3,473 posts)I would say most of the frustration of the Secretary Clinton supporters would have to do with the broken alert system that has allowed Sanders cheerleaders to fling poo all over the walls around here without consequences, while Secretary Clinton supporters have been alert stalked and have had numerous posts hidden and thus locked out of threads.
We'll know by Wed or Thur how the new reality around here shakes out.
Boldine
(86 posts)to Sanders' supporters and yet are accusing them of doing what you are doing.
I rather think that many Hillary supporters need to take a cold, hard look at how they have behaved in the past and whether they think it okay to carry on acting that way in the future.
question everything
(48,733 posts)still hoping for his nominations, making demands, blackmailing, really, and how many are for Clinton?
Granted, I've seen many threads here that I thought should have been on GDP for wider distribution but I think too many of us have bad experience with out posts there either getting attacked, hidden or simply sinking.
charlyvi
(6,537 posts)For the past year. Then get back to us and show us how many times we have called Sanders a murderer and a shill; never mind, just go away.

(86 posts)I will say this that whatever has been said on DU about Hillary is nothing compared to what the GOP will start slinging. You will need to grow thicker skin or you will drive yourself nuts.
charlyvi
(6,537 posts)And as far as why you should go away, this is a protected group for followers of Hillary Clinton. Up at the top of the group's heading, this appears:
This is a group, not a forum. Groups often serve as safe havens for members who share similar interests and viewpoints. Individuals who post messages contrary to a particular group's stated purpose can be excluded from posting in that group. For detailed information about this group and its purpose, click here.
Since you apparently did not read it, I've posted it here for you.

(2,117 posts)Attacking Hillary is cool because the GOP does it? Accept like an adult that Sanders supporters have said vile shit for a long time before you come here demanding others acknowledge what they've said

(3,850 posts)Hillary Clinton. Anyone who recommends OPs which say Hillary won the nomination through fraud is not a Hillary supporter.

(305,118 posts)I fully expect to see that name on a wide-eyed post in the BS group saying, "I just got banned! I have NO IDEA what I said that made them ban me! I was just telling them what they need to know!"
They are so dull.

I expect (hope?) that the worst offenders will self-destruct and to be shown the door. Others will probably voluntarily depart.
Either way is fine with me.

(12,474 posts)I have been hitting ignore like crazy again. I don't hit ignore on long time DU people normally, but I had to on a couple of them lately. I may bring them back after the new rules go into effect on Monday but I'm not sure. I'm really tired of being called stupid.

(2,613 posts)I'm back to give DU another chance but I am still a bit shell-shocked from the past year of hate and vile treatment of Clinton supporters. If the Monday changes come to pass, I will begin posting again and get a star membership.
Here's hoping!

(9,494 posts)keep my negative posts to Donald Trump and other bad actor except for Sanders.
I love the Hillary Group here but the general forums have been pretty anti-Democratic party for a long time now. The best thing about DU is the way the site is designed, but I frequent sites that are more Pro-Dem, that are far better moderated and interesting.

Is Sanders still running for President? Sanders campaign manager Weaver: Yes, he is. Yes, he is. Yes, he is.
