The progressive movement that Bernie Sanders helped unleash doesn’t end here.

Fair wages, health care for all, affordable college, expanding Social Security, paid family and medical leave -- it’s a future Democrats still believe in and must fight for.

It's like they're saying no such movement existed prior to Bernie Sanders running. Bullshit!!!

Hillary, for one, has advocated most of those things, well before this year.

Methinks Sanders wants to desperately be a part of history. His statement last night about how history will view him and his so-called revolution confirmed to me that he has delusions of grandeur. A legend in his own mind.

Perhaps that's one reason why he may resent Hillary. She's arguably the most accomplished woman in US history (First Lady, Senator, Secretary of State), and now she has made history as the first female candidate of a major political party. When she wins in November, that will definitely seal the deal, especially since a female among males usually stands out of the crowd. In short, Hillary will be remembered for decades to come, and she has the potential to be better than her husband -- thanks in part to changing times and hopefully a Democratic majority in both Houses of Congress. In other words, she'd be able to accomplish much more.

a female among males usually stands out of the crowd--seems like it would work, but I disagree because we tend to be written out of history, or minimized, or later have our works attributed to men. I did a paper related to that for my women's studies class long, long ago. Since there are so many female historians now it might not be such an issue. Time will tell. Hope that wasn't annoying just wanted to share my thoughts.

Is this Tester's or Schumer's idea, I wonder?

Sanders needs to go back to work if he wants to be taken seriously, not pontificating from afar. He has a job for which he receives a government paycheck. Congress IS in session. The primaries are OVER.

He can't be Kuciniching any longer--time to go back to work.

I'm not massaging his poor widdle feels about losing.

Not with the way he's behaving. It's one of the principles of child-rearing and dealing with errant behaviors, never reward negative behavior.

Thank you for driving a wedge between liberal constituencies who would normally be able to find common ground.

Thank you for insinuating that Hillary Clinton is corrupt with nothing to back it up.

Thank you for using your platform with young people to advance a silly, reductive narrative of victimization and scorn.

Thank you for scoffing at the gains of the Obama years.

Thank you for taking a inchoate hunger for more progressive governance and responding with a "revolution" that consisted of whining, hectoring, and blowing through donors' money like it had an expiration date.

Thank you for your bitter, graceless refusal to admit to the defeat of your campaign.

After he spent his "basement tape" moment crowing about how poverty-stricken, disabled, poor elderly on SS, and people on unemployment sent him their money; and considering how proud he was of that even though he used it for a quickie vacay to Rome/publicity stunt with the family and friends in tow - he can look elsewhere. Let his kids cough up some more of their lunch money.

Sanders no longer makes me angry though; he just bores me.
