It's official. The Virgin Islands do not count.

In 2010 the U.S. Virgin Islands had a population of 106,405

Tourism is the primary economic activity. The islands normally host 2 million visitors a year, many of whom visit on cruise ships. Additionally, the islands frequently are a starting point for private yacht charters to the neighboring British Virgin Islands.

hmm.. small population dependent on the wealth of others.

Not everyone who works in tourism is poor. With tips, my partner is brining home more money than even me. And I have a nice 'office job'.

We're supposed to live by Bernie's example and not find gainful employment until our 40s. Although, I gotta say, I don't think there are enough taxpayer-funded positions for all of us, so we probably all can't follow in St Bernie's footsteps.

9. 28 Percent of Sanders Campaign Donations Come From People Who Aren't in the Workforce

The most interesting thing to me, though, is the fact that 28.6 percent of Sanders donors are not in the workforce, whether unemployed, disabled, or retired. The next most common field among donors is healthcare, at 7.4 percent, and education, at 7.2. Read the whole thing here.

convinced that Sanders will win on June 7, and that on June 8 it will be announced that a college education is now free in the USA, and that everyone currently enrolled in college will be getting a big fat refund check for all the college tuition they have paid to date.

Other donors, such as Connie Kazmer of Granada Hills, said they went on spending sprees any time they felt moved by the campaign. The 60-year-old sound editor said she watched every Democratic debate with her laptop open, ready to give when something riled her.

Over the course of nine debates, Kazmer donated more than 100 times, topping $2,200 in contributions.

“I had to pace myself,” Kazmer said.

Jeremy Abramowitz, a recent graduate from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, gave Sanders’ campaign more than $5,000 in more than 200 separate donations.

It looks like some people were donating to Sanders the way some other people play the lottery.
