Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumCan somebody explain to the Sander's camp this one simple fact ...
You have two choices.
One of those choices will get a majority of the votes. There is no way a campaign between two people can be "contested". There is no way one of the two choices won't get a majority.
This idea that there is no clear winner after the first vote at the convention makes ZERO sense when there are two candidates. One of them will get the majority.
It's not a philosophical issue. It is 100% mathematical fact.

(Alas, neither vote).
Theoretically, it should be possible to tie (I'd have to do the research and math) as O'Malley has 1 super delegate who is not going to change. However, with the balances the way they are, with Clinton's clear leads in pledged and super delegates, that won't happen.

(521 posts)Oy. When have Republicans had solutions? It's not for nothing that they've earned the sobriquet The Party of No.
NastyRiffraff
(12,448 posts)TRUMP having solutions? Are you kidding me? What's wrong with this guy. O'Malley should have a serious talk with him.
caquillo
(521 posts)... that he wasn't voting for either Hillary or Sanders, come what may. I'm guessing he's sitting this one out, because I doubt he would support Trump, although stranger things have happened. Remember in 2008 when turncoat Lieberman endorsed McCain/Palin, saying that electing Obama would be a big mistake?
LiberalFighter
(53,449 posts)Advocating support of a candidate that is not a Democrat should disqualify him.

(9,494 posts)will decide when this crap stops. Blackmailing the party is only going to go so far. The Obama coalition is coming so Bernie might just get kicked to the curb when it becomes obvious that we win this without him.

(12,448 posts)they think all the math schoolbooks should change to reflect Berniemath. Such is reality in Bernieworld.

Just not these. Ever.

I am 200% it will have the opposite effect and will cost sanders dearly in history for sure as this self-destructive angry old socialist sulks back to Vermont in rejection
really for the time for the gloves to come off...and make the world educated on what kind of man this guy is
he is NOT a victim by an angry aggressive ego-maniac that lacks the class AND composure to be president....approaching trumps level of incompetence

(12,448 posts)when he concedes. He'll be shoved under that bus along with the rest. And Susan Sarandon will be the wield the biggest shovel.

(1,473 posts)can't hear through the Bernie bubble they're in. It's a very thick nearly impenetrable bubble.
Reality will smack them in the face in July. and theyre not going to deal with it well because they believe Bernie is entitled to the nomination.
