UPDATED: Right on cue! Sanders campaign accuses Puerto Rico of fraud

Sanders campaign accuses Puerto Rico Dem officials of fraud

Bernie Sanders’s campaign is accusing Puerto Rico’s Democratic Party officials of fraud in the territory’s presidential primary.

The campaign’s head of Hispanic voter efforts, Betsy Franceschini, told Caribbean Business in an interview that Sanders officials were initially denied access to prisons to help inmates vote.
“Our Bernie Sanders officials were never certified. We had 40 officials we submitted in time for the prisons. Not one of them was certified, while all of theirs [Hillary Clinton’s] went in. Attorney Manny Suárez had to go in order for us to be let in. This is a great fraud,” Franceschini said.

UPDATE

Puerto Rico Dems 'appalled' by accusations from Sanders camp

The head of the Democratic Party of Puerto Rico slammed the Sanders campaign on Saturday for accusing it of unfairly denying poll workers access to prisons to help inmates vote.

"I am appalled at the remarks from the spokesperson of the Bernie Sanders Campaign in Puerto Rico, Ms. Betsy Franceschini," local Democratic Party president Roberto Prats said in a statement.

"Inmate voting is handled not by the Democratic Party but by the Commonwealth's Absentee and Advance Vote Administrative Board," Prats said. "I have been told that the Sanders campaign submitted their prison pollworker list at 6:10 pm on the evening prior to inmate voting and began complaining early in the following morning that the Board had not completed their pollworker's certification. But in the end, despite the late submittal, the Sanders campaign had representatives at the prison voting places."

He also accused the Sanders campaign of stealing two boxes of ballots that had been cast by prisoners before delivering them to an election office.

Sanders’ Campaign Alleges Fraud in Puerto Rico Presidential Primary

http://cb.pr/bernie-sanders-camp-reports-fraud-in-the-puerto-rico-presidential-primary/

By Rafelli González on June 3, 2016

............When asked by Caribbean Business about the situation, Prats said the list of Sanders’ voting center officials was received Thursday at about 5 p.m., and that he expects the certifications to take place during the afternoon Friday.

Regarding the fact that the leadership of the Democratic Party in Puerto Rico – which has expressed itself publicly in favor of the candidacy of former first lady Hillary Clinton – has faced problems in the recruitment process of officials for voting centers, which would put the process’ transparency at risk, Prats denied there was any inconvenient that would prevent holding the primary.

“It is not true that the primaries have fallen. We have officials, and they keep arriving. We are going to have 432 voting centers with officials to receive the voters,” Prats said.

Without mentioning participation estimates, Prats said he foresees the event “will be an example of wide electoral participation.” In previous interviews the president of the local Democratic Party, he has mentioned that more than 600,000 voters would participate in these primaries.

However the local committeeman of the party, Kenneth McClintock, said that due to the decrease in the number of centers made available for this process – from 1,510 to 432 – participation could be around 300,000 voters....................

This whine came on cue. PR looks like a blowout for Hillary Clinton, so of course that means fraud and establishment tinkering and . . . whatever. Meaning my native state of New Jersey should batten down the hatches because a tidal wave is on the way, one that's going to carry Hillary over the finish line.

I can already hear the whine blowing across the Jersey dunes. Oy!

their list of officials for certification, and the very next morning they're screaming foul play because their list wasn't immediately approved? And why in the heck does The Hill take the first couple of paragraphs from an article printed in Caribbean Business, but conveniently leave off the 2nd half of the article that states the list would be approved by Friday (yesterday, the very next day)? Jeez.

So when his ego takes a blow, losing, he has to come up with an emotionally acceptable alternative, and casts himself as the victim of even against direct evidence, over and over and over. He always has some excuse or false data point to share. I think his ego really just can't take it. I see him as emotionally incapable of dealing with reality. He doesn't seem to grow from his errors and flaws, he just seems to deny that his errors and flaws exist.

Sufferers of what's called narcissistic personality disorder aren't just vain; they're grandiose about themselves to the point of obsession, charmingly manipulative, and often have a sociopathic lack of empathy towards others.

1. They love being the exception to the rule.
2. They don't care much about your feelings.
3. They have a major problem with authority.
4. They completely dominate conversations, even when they're about you.
5. They are intensely charming and confident.
6. They perpetually challenge you (and not in the good way).
7. They started out devoted, but have quickly become disinterested.
8. Their reputation means everything to them.
9. They think your emotions are a sign of weakness.
10. You feel like a character in their sweeping life drama.
11. They have no respect for your boundaries.
12. They require constant control over you.
13. They believe everybody either loves them ... or is jealous of them.
14. They have a history of infidelity and bad breakups.
15. They collect friends who idolize them.

But these people are ridiculous. Instead of taking the opportunity to really make a change, they have decided to be absurd spoilers. I predict they end up with little or nothing. What a way to squander an advantage. No wonder the Democratic Socialist Party never accomplishes anything.

Over and over again, they demonstrate that they just don't have their act together. Many of the problems in Nevada came as a result of Sanders' people not showing up, not getting proper certification, etc. Now in PR they submit their list at the last minute and throw a tantrum that it isn't approved retroactively.

I have come to believe had this been ANYONE other than Hillary, M$M would have been telling the Bern to go home a long time ago, but RATINGS win and calling horse races is easier than investigating issues and positions, so we have a silly old man unwilling to call it a day and a group of supporters who can't do basic math and being fed so much conspiracy nonsense that it is frightening.
