Tom Perez
Tom Perez will be the front runner having executive experience in the Federal and State Level.
DNC Chairman from 2017-2021.
US Secretary of Labor from 2013-2017
US Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights from 2009-2013
Maryland Secretary of Labor from 2007-2009
Tom Perez will be the first Latino Governor of Maryland.
Peter Franchot is the most experienced candidate for MD Governor serving
4 terms as MD Comptroller (2007-2023)
10 terms in the MD House of Delegates(1987-2007).
Franchot is the Joe Biden of MD.
He is the oldest and most experienced.
If Franchot or Perez get the Democratic nomination for Governor. They should select a black female as their Lt Gubernatorial runningmate.
Angela Alsobrooks- the current Prince Georges County Executive.
I picked Alsobrooks as Lt Governor because she will be next in line to be Governor if Franchot has to leave the Governorship due to poor health or Perez has to leave the Governorship in order to be Kamala Harriss Vice President.
